Italian musician, poet and artist. Born in Sabaudia, 1944 in the province of Latina, lives and grows in Tricarico (in the province of Matera) where roots a deep attachment to the values and the sounds of traditional rural life. His genres range from ethno-folk to classical tarantella although his musical roots are in the period of the beat generation. Between 1984 and 1987 he signs the soundtrack of the movies [i]Vincere Per Vincere[/i] and [i]Ternosecco[/i] directed by and featuring [a=Giancarlo Giannini]. In 1989 he composes the music for the show [i]Tricolore Triste[/i] by theater group [i]"Nieuwe Scene"[/i] from Antwerp, Belgium. In 1991 for the same theater group writes and composes the music and designs the costumes for [i]La Nave dei Folli (The Ship of Fools)[/i], a show that traces the evolution of comedy through the ages. Also in Belgium he practices painting, investigates the relationship between music and color painting, receiving an honorary degree by the [i]Royal Belgian Literature, Sciences and Fine Arts[/i]. In 1996 he presents at the [i]European Parliament[/i] in Brussels the exhibition [i]Cosmic Dance, Sound, Color[/i]. [i]Succhà[/i], an anthology of poems, is published in 1998 by Lawrence Ferlinghetti's [i]City Lights Bookstore[/i].
