The Groove Corporation (currently G. Corp) started as [a=Electribe 101]. The name "Groove Corporation" was first used as a production moniker on Electribe 101 records and on remixes done for other artists. After Electribe 101 dissolved, the boys in the group continued as "Groove Corporation" (while [a=Billie Ray Martin] went solo) and formed (with [a=Rockers Hi-Fi]) their own label, [l=The Cake Label]. Debut album "Co-operation" was produced for [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/2105-6-x-6-Records]Six6[/url]/[l=Network Records] - which was bought out by Sony just prior to the release of the album. Without much support from the new major host, the album, although being brilliant, sank almost without a trace. The group continued as G. Corp and recorded the follow-up album "New Roots", which wasn't released until 2013 (as "[r=5410583]"). In the meantime a series of dub albums were released. Currently G. Corp is a duo. Nordhoff and Cimarosti are also part of [a=Overproof Sound System] and produce the group as G. Corp. G. Corp are currently collaborating with Ital Audio.
